Clyde immersed himself in the realm of music at an early age, fostering a deep passion for hip-hop culture in the early 1980s. As a self-taught aficionado of Afro-American music and its diverse spectrum, Clyde made significant contributions to the R&B and CO magazine between 2001 and 2002 before embarking on a journey with Radio Générations 88.2 in 2004. There, he became an integral part of the “Do Me Right” show, helmed by Jeff. From 2004 to 2010, Clyde co-hosted this flagship program, which became synonymous with R&B and the French music scene. He also played a pivotal role in organizing “Do Me Right” events, including the celebrated 20th-anniversary tribute to New Jack Swing at Seine Bastille. Concurrently, Clyde spearheaded event coordination, notably orchestrating the Soul Spirit Festival in 2005 at the Tryptique, showcasing esteemed R&B artists in France such as Justy, Hasheem, and the soulful jazz vocalist Sandra Nkaké. Presently, Clyde continues to share his passion for soul and R&B on rnb-1.com, curating weekly selections and personal favorites on “Soundtrip,” delivering the epitome of cool, smooth, and slow jams.
